WHY PASTOR ADEBOYE IS VERY POPULAR AND WELL RESPECTED   Pastor Adeboye is no doubt the most popular and well respected man of God in Nigeria, if not in Africa. He is not only respected among his clergy mates but also among the most important people in Nigeria and in the world.
At first I did not understand why the man of God should be that popular being a Pentecostal. Pentecostal teachings appears not to have anything to do with popularity and respect, but it's the opposite is the case of the man of God.
Among the conclusion I drew is that his gentleness and simplicity must have earn him such honor among his peers and in the world in general. This as my believe until an article in the Nigeria world on the 22nd of October 2014 where the pastor was defending the president of CAN in the case of $9.3 million deal where he was involved.
There is nothing wrong in defending a love one or taking sides with one you care about, or with whom you belong to same association. Pastor Adebayo has not done nothing wrong by defending the CAN president since the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria permit a citizen freedom of speech as long as within the constitution.
The problem is however the person Pastor Adeboye claim to be representing when he makes a speech or appear in the public. Since Pastor Adebayo claim to be representing Jesus Christ, there is an urgent need to revisit his position with regards to bishop Oritsejafor and the $9.3 million deal. Let me start by reading out pastor Adeboye position:
" GENERAL Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, yesterday, defended the national president of the Christian Association, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, following the controversy surrounding the seizure of $9.3 million arms purchase funds by South Africa.
Pastor Adeboye who spoke in London during an ecclesiastical visit said, "Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor is a man of God I trust and I can personally vouch for him. I believe on the issue of his aircraft being chartered and the purpose it was used for he had no prior knowledge. I'm sure God will continue to build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail in Jesus name. One anointed cannot attack another anointed. A pastor cannot attack another pastor. Touch not my anointed is what God said. Some Nigerians have questioned the use of Pastor Oritsejafor's private jet by the Federal Government to convey the money to South Africa, accusing him of involvement in money laundering."
The Federal Government had to come out in defence of the CAN president, arguing that Oritsejafor who is also the founder of Word of Life Bible Church has no hand in the deal. The Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan (Public Communication), Dr. Doyin Okupe, told newsmen in Abuja: "Oritsejafor is the President of CAN and head of all Christians in Nigeria who is representing at least, 50 per cent of people in this country. When it comes to a man like that, people should be cautious and circumspect."


After reading what pastor Adeboye wrote and his quotation based on the bible I became very sad. I was sad because here is a man that millions believe he is leading them to the truth to the extent that many are ready to die for him for being the most holy and righteous clergy and closer to God than anyone in the world.
Based on Pastor Adebayo interpretation of the bible as shown above, it is clear that many are being deceived and being mislead due to the ignorance and lack of knowledge of this general overseer when it comes to interpreting the word of God in the Holy Spirit.
Please follow me with the Holy Spirit interpretation of where Pastor Adeboye quoted for:
"One anointed cannot attack another anointed. A pastor cannot attack another pastor ". This is not true based on references in the bible. There are many instances when an anointed one of God is attacked by another one anointed of God so that the truth that God stands for can be established.
Take the case of Samuel (an anointed one of God), where he attacked Saul the king (another anointed one of God) because of his determination to cover up his unrighteousness, deceit and lies. According to pastor Adeboye, a person's unrighteousness, deceit and hypocrisy must not be revealed because he is anointed by God. Pastor Adebayo this was not the case in the bible and you need to apologies to your congregation and to Nigeria for misleading them in the name of the bible.
At another instance, Paul (an anointed of God) attacked peter (another anointed one of God openly because of deceit, unrighteousness and hypocrisy that peter was attempting to cover up before the Jews. This is another reason to say that Pastor Adebayo is misleading his congregation and Nigeria and he must be stopped from continuing to do so.
There are so many examples that can be drawn from the bible that support the fact that anointed one of God found in deceit, unrighteousness and hypocrisy can be attacked and exposed contrary to what pastor Adebayo want Nigerians and the world to believe.
I am not surprised if Pastor Adeboye was ashamed of his unrighteousness, hypocrisy and deceit, and this may explain why he was quoting the bible wrongly to cover himself. If this is the case, I encourage you to put off shame and come out to repentance and stop deceiving yourself and your congregation.

Let us take a look at another one of your quotation "Touch not my anointed is what God said.". Pastor Adeboye, Peter, John, Stephen, and Paul to name a few were anointed of God, yet they were beaten, put in prison, and even killed for the sake of Jesus Christ. These things were done unto them not because they were involved in any unrighteousness, how then can you defend pastor Oritsejafor because of a possibility of unrighteousness he was involved in.

From the way you interpret the bible, it shows me clearly that you have not understood who an anointed one of God is or what they stand for or neither do you understand what it means to be called by God.
Stephen was an anointed one of God (Acts chapter 6 and 7), who performed wonders and miracles with great power, ended in being accused, ridiculed and stoned unto death.
Peter and John were anointed one of God (Acts chapter 4), who were accused, ridiculed, beaten and put in jail.
Paul was an anointed one of God ( Acts chapter 21), who was accused, ridiculed, beaten and put in jail
All the Apostles were beaten and hauled off to jail. Christ told us "no man is greater than his master" (John 13:16), and He also said, to paraphrase, "they would drink out of His cup."
Pastor Adeboye, you need to seek for knowledge and wisdom, or else you will continue to lead yourself and your congregation in the wrong direction and you may all end up not doing human race any good. Is there anything you are covering up that may make you to interpret the bible in your own way or is it because you lack the Holy Spirit (please read John chapter 14) that can teach men the word of God. If there is one advice I can give, it will be that you seek knowledge and wisdom from where I know you will get it (Evidence of Christ ministry international) and I promise you that God almighty will not disappoint you.
Now I can understand that your popularity and respect is not because you are leading people to God, but rather because you allow everyone to be comfortable in their ways (lies, deceit, hypocrisy, cover-up etc) and as you and I know, people will rather follow a deceitful leader than to follow the leader of the truth.
My advice to you therefore is to repent and turn away from your selfishness, shelf will, shelf way, self desire, shelf go and turn to the WORD OF GOD (JESUS CHRIST)

Striking Teachers Lock Out Council Chairman, Secretary

Members of  the  Akwanga Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT)  in Nasarawa State on Thursday  locked up the offices of the  chairman and secretary of the Akwanga Local Government Council.
The ezekielpress.blogspot.com reports that the teachers staged a protest over non-release of their bio-data capturing forms by the Council Chairman, Mr Abashiya Koto.
The protesters, who converged at the Local Government Education Authority office, carried leaves and placards and obstructed activities at the council secretariat for many hours.
The protesters insisted that the offices would remain locked until their demands were met.
Speaking during the protest, Mr Yarima Yohana, the Chairman of the NUT, said the protest was to demand the release of their bio-data capturing forms.
He said that the welfare of teachers in the area had suffered serious set-back under the current administration in the state.
Yohana said that the government had also nullified the promotion of some teachers in the Local Government for no reason.
He called on the council boss to revise his actions for harmonious working relationship with the union.
Yohana said that “the union would always protect the interest of its members.”
The Secretary of the council, Malam Sani Umar, described the action of the union as unfortunate, expressing the readiness of the council to dialogue with the union.
He appealed for cooperation and understanding from the union to resolve the matter.

 

2015 Presidential Race: DPP Considers Alliance With PDP Or APC – Official

|The Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) says it will form alliance with any of the two political parties, PDP or APC, that presents the best presidential candidate for the 2015 general elections.

Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed, Acting National Secretary, DPP, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja.
“We may likely go into alliance with any of the principal political parties, either the APC or the PDP or we shall endorse one of the presidential candidates.
“But as for the other offices at the local level, our party members are free to contest for any elective post they so wish.’’
He said the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party had set up a committee to examine the possibility of joining either the PDP or APC.
Mohammed said there was still unfinished business and that the party could only decide when the other two parties fielded their presidential candidates.
“Until then, we cannot blindly go into alliance with any of them.”
He stressed that “the party can only support either of these parties if it presents a candidate of our choice; we are not supporting party but the presidential candidate of the party”.
He added that the party’s nomination forms were not yet on sale because “we have not yet fixed the price”.
“What we intend to do is to endorse the price we used for the 2011 elections.”
According to him, there are persons showing interest in other posts, therefore the forms might be released for sale next week.
He said that DPP would not sell the forms for millions of naira.
“It is only the bigger parties that sell for millions.”
He said that the high cost of the forms announced by other parties amounted to indirect disenfranchisement of some members because it would not be affordable to all.
Mohammed said if the forms were sold for millions of naira, only very small proportion of members of the party could contest elections.
“ The entire political process in Nigeria is all about individuals, not about principle or ideologies, because there is no difference between one Nigerian political party and the other.
“The only difference is based on the individuals that are presented for various offices.’

 

Ebola: 2 Nigerians Confirmed Positive In Sierra Leone – Minister

The minister of state for health, Dr Khaliru Alhassan, has disclosed that health officials in Sierra Leone have officially informed the ministry that two Nigerians resident in Freetown have been diagnosed with Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).
He said that one of the Nigerians is a 27-year-old indigene of Abia State, while the other is a 22-year-old indigene of Edo State.
The minister, who made this disclosure in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, when he briefed the press on EVD at the just-concluded National Council on Health Meeting, said that details of the two cases will be made available when full investigation of their status is concluded.
He stressed that from the information available to the ministry, both Nigerians received treatment in isolation centres in Freetown, Sierra Leone, adding that one of them has been successfully treated and is technically cured, and has returned to Nigeria.
Dr Alhassan said although the nation’s borders will continue to remain open for the free movement of people and goods within the region, government will continue to strengthen and sustain proactive vigilance and surveillance at all its borders – air, sea and land.
Against this backdrop, the minister appealed to the countries already infected to strengthen their surveillance and quarantine network to minimise escape from such networks by people already put under surveillance to other non-infected countries.
He noted that the recent declaration of Nigeria as an Ebola-free nation on Monday, the 20th of October, 2014 connotes that Nigeria’s strategies to fight the outbreak had worked and that Nigeria is now not to be listed among countries infected by the deadly virus any longer, adding that henceforth, no country will stigmatise any Nigerian as someone coming to contaminate their people.
He ascribed Nigeria’s success in containing the Ebola disease to responsive governance driven by appropriate political will, a clear leadership role, and strong multi-sectoral teamwork.
The minister informed the journalists that Nigeria has already mobilised and trained over 600 health workers as volunteers to support the containment effort in affected countries within the West African sub-region under the leadership of ECOWAS.
He noted that Nigeria’s president had donated $3.5million towards the Ebola scourge in the sub-region.
He also disclosed that at the request of the government of Sierra Leone, Nigeria made a donation of drugs and supplies to the tune of N50million.

Anyone ever been to the U.S embassy Walter Carrington lagos.I was there sometimes ago with a friend to process our student visa. I saw a lot of funny things.the crowd there was similar to that of the redemption camp at a distance. I saw a lot of folks kitted like business men,some from the word go I already denied them in my mind.funniest of my experience that day was a lady who was interviewed just before me.she claimed she was going to see her uncle in Atlanta whose wife just gave birth.the consular asked if she has a job to which she said yes.without asking she said she works in an oil and gas company;name have never heard before,the address she gave was right beside my house....lol.I tapped myself to wake myself up from the dream...the consular asked how many month was she gonna help babysit the child as she claimed...she said 8months...the consular denied her and here she goes kneeling down.please sir for heaven sake,for the sake of this new baby pls give me this visa...I literally busted into an uncontrollable laughter as the security guys showed her the way out.it was such a gorycomical sight.guys share your funny experience at the us embassy

PDP Chieftain Campaigns For Buhari

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Alhaji Hassan Mohammed Sheri, has openly begun campaigning for General Muhammadu Buhari, calling on his supporters to vote for the former head of state in the forthcoming general elections.

He described Buhari as the most credible among those aspiring to lead the country in the current dispensation.
Mohammed, who is a close political associates of the PDP national chairman, Ahmadu Adamu Mu,azu and  the FCT minister Bala Mohammed stated this yesterday  at a press conference in Bauchi.

He said Buhari is an exemplary leader who maintained his integrity despite the various positions he has held in Nigeria, adding that Buhari’s crave for leadership is for Nigerians and not for himself.

“If it is for money Buhari would have amassed wealth more than any Nigerian because he had held other lucrative positions that many Nigerians were not opportuned to, that could have enriched him,” he stated.

Mohammed called on the political class to ensure General Buhari assumes the mantle of leadership in 2015.

“Let me tell you categorically that I’m 100 percent in support of Buhari presidency come 2015 and therefore appeal to all Nigerians to ensure his victory at the polls,” he stressed and  called on politicians, particularly members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure the emergence of Buhari as the APC flag-bearer in the forthcoming party primaries.

Mohammed, who maintained that he is still with the PDP, said he is speaking as an elder on the need for a credible leader that would move the country forward.
